Rate Sheet, Advertising Contract and Insertion Order forms can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. General Information (more info) Frequency Discounts: ABI offers increasing discounts for 3-, 6- and 10-time insertions. Ads do not have to run consecutively, but must be the same size. To receive a frequency discount, the advertiser must complete an advertising contract for all the insertions that qualify them for the frequency discount. Advertisers will be short-rated if they do not use the number of insertions on which their rate was based during the year. Insertion Orders: Insertion orders must be submitted for each advertisement, even if the advertiser is on contract. This gives the advertiser the flexibility to provide new artwork, request special positioning and monitor billing procedures. Insertion orders must be submitted by each issue's ad space deadline. Tombstones: ABI accepts "tombstone" announcements regarding new clients, business accomplishments, anniversaries, office openings, new employees, etc. To run a tombstone, please submit an insertion order by the appropriate ad space deadline. Position Requests: Position guarantees are available for an additional 10 percent. Requests may be in relation to a regular feature or in relation to other advertisements. Placement on a particular page is not guaranteed. Advertisers not requesting special positioning will be placed in the best possible position. Pre-printed Inserts: Pre-printed inserts can be inserted into the ABI Journal, but must be presented to ABI in advance for approval. The insertion rate is based on acceptable weight materials. Heavy-weight or multiple-page insertions will be considered, but the rate may be slightly higher. Pre-payment is required. Inserts should be no more than 8 pages front and back. Cancellations: All cancellations must be received in writing no later than the issue space closing date to avoid incurring a charge. Payment: Payment should be included with the insertion order. Please send it to: ABI Staff Accountant, 44 Canal Center Plaza, Suite 400, Alexandria, VA 22314. ABI reserves the right to hold the advertising agency and the advertiser jointly responsible for all payments.
