The first Nuts & Bolts program post-BAPCPA. An outstanding faculty of judges and practitioners will explain the fundamentals of bankruptcy. Topics covered include structure of the Code; commencing the case; concepts such as discharge, property of the estate, claims, priority, ethics, adequate protection and the automatic stay; executory contacts and leases; chapter 11 from beginning to end and chapter 7 from both the debtor and creditor perspectives. General Bankruptcy Fundamentals (Online CLE Program Cost $245)This two-part, 3.5-hour program fully covers the sources of bankruptcy law, jurisdiction and venue, basic concepts such as property of estate and claims, dischargeability, avoiding powers and more. The faculty includes a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, an ABI Resident Scholar and a co-author of the treatise, Bankruptcy in Practice.
