ABI to Host London Conference This Fall

February 3, 2005, Alexandria, Va. —The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) will hold an International Insolvency Conference in London on September 23, 2005 at the Savoy Hotel. Chairman for the program is Ian Williams (Edward Geldard Solicitors; Nottingham, England), who is a co-chair of ABI’s International Committee. He will be assisted by a London Conference Advisory Board, consisting of members of the leading insolvency firms in the United Kingdom.

The conference will feature four panel discussions on various international insolvency topics and an open forum session involving a senior figure from the U.K. judiciary.

“The program will promote greater understanding of the inter-relationship between the European and U.S. insolvency issues,” said Williams.

A number of firms are committed to serve on the Advisory Board or as Conference Sponsors, including KPMG (London), PWC (London), Robson Rhodes (London), GE (London), AlixPartners (London), IWIRC (New York), Schultze&Braun (Germany), Numerica (London), Freshfields (London), Ozannes (Guernsey), Begbies Traynor (London), Edwards Geldard (Nottingham) and Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw (London).

If you would like to get involved either as an advisory board member, sponsor or both, please contact Ian Williams  at 44 (1) 115 840 4499 or by email
