Martin Named ABI Resident Scholar for Fall 2005

— Prof. Nathalie Martin was named the Robert M. Zinman
ABI Resident Scholar for the fall 2005 semester. She is the Dickason
professor at the University of New Mexico (UNM)
School of
Law. Prof.
Martin joined the UNM law faculty in 1998. She focuses her teaching and
research on business law, with an emphasis on professionalism and
ethics. She also has published articles and books on elder law. She
taught business law courses at Temple University School of Law, where
she obtained an LL.M. While there, she received an Abraham L. Freedman
Fellowship. Martin turned to teaching after 10 years in private practice
as a bankruptcy attorney. Since joining the UNM law faculty, Martin has
taught summer sessions in
Greece
and
Italy
through Temple
University's International
Programs. She was recently named to serve on the Board of Directors of
the American Board of Certification.

ABI’s Executive Director. “Her energy and teaching skills
will be very helpful in explaining bankruptcy law to Congressional staff
and the news media during this critical time in the development of a new
law.” Nathalie Martin received her B.A. from St. Olaf
College, J.D. from Syracuse
University and L.L.M. from
Temple
University.
