ABI Online Resources provides members and the public with a one-stop reference to a wide array of resources, documents and commentary for bankruptcy and insolvency information. Providing both current and historical data, ABI’s Online Resources enables users to find answers to general or specific questions about bankruptcy law, activities or developments.

Bankruptcy Headlines

Available only to ABI Members, the Bankruptcy Headlines section is updated daily with a summary of the most pertinent news stories related to the bankruptcy and insolvency fields. As an added feature, members can sign up to receive the daily Headlines via email. A searchable archive of past Headlines is also available.

Membership Directory

The Membership Directory provides ABI members with a simplified method to finding contact information for other ABI members through an easy-to-use search format. Members can also update their own contact information in real time.

Bankruptcy Statistics

Using information from the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, the Bankruptcy Statistics section of ABI World posts current and historical bankruptcy filing statistics in organized and easily understood charts. The filing charts are publicly  available and are organized in such variation as bankruptcies by year, type of filing, state, and district filed. The section also includes ABI press releases on filings, graphs and additional analysis of bankruptcy filing statistics.

Courts & Opinions

The section allows members to read circuit case updates, bankruptcy opinions and Supreme Court decisions. The section also maintains public links to bankruptcy courts, as well as the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure.

Legislative News

This section of ABI World provides the text of all insolvency-related House and Senate bills, as well as media coverage, testimony and analysis. The Legislative Highlights and Legislative Update columns from past issues of the popular ABI Journal also provide important context to the history of the debate over bankruptcy reform legislation.

BankruptcyData.com News Headlines

All users are able to access the current day’s headlines compiled and posted by New Generation Research on its BankruptcyData.com Web site.

Quick Poll Archive

The Quick Poll Archive section maintains the past results of ABI’s weekly Quick Poll, which focuses on timely insolvency issue. Each week’s Quick Poll can be found on the ABI World homepage, and ABI members and the public are invited to cast their vote. Results are published in the ABI Journal
