The keynote luncheon speaker will be Prof. Kenneth N. Klee, an economist at UCLA Law School who will share insights and experiences from his recent tenure as a court-appointed examiner in the chapter 11 cases of media giant Tribune and its subsidiaries. Prof. Klee and his team recently concluded an investigation and produced a 1,400-page report analyzing the $13 billion leveraged buyout that occurred just one year before the Tribune companies filed their chapter 11 cases.
