ABI brings its stellar CLE programming to The Social Law Library in Boston on January 19 for a day-long educational program focusing on litigation in consumer bankruptcy cases. The program shall consist of panel discussions led by experts on current substantive issues in consumer bankruptcy cases and a litigation skills forum, featuring advice from bankruptcy judges and litigators. Faculty members include four bankruptcy judges, a chapter 13 standing trustee, several chapter 7 trustees, the Acting Assistant United States Trustee, and a number of experienced attorneys who concentrate in representing debtors and creditors in consumer cases and litigation. In addition, attendees are invited to join ABI Executive Director Samuel J. Gerdano, a former chief counsel to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, for a lunchtime discussion on current and prospective legislative developments. A reception will follow the conclusion of the program at 6:00 PM. Approval for up to 6.5 hours of CLE credit is pending.
