Your tax deductible gift is put to work by supporting:
Scholarly but Practical Research
- Coalition for Consumer Debtor Education;
- Funding of a comprehensive national study of professional fees;
- Funding a study of the impact of claims trading on the outcome of
chapter 11 cases;
- Sponsoring the first non-creditor-financed study of the repayment
capacity of Chapter 7 debtors (already a landmark study referred to by
Congress and others);
- Funding a study on the use of substantive consolidation in large
public company bankruptcy proceedings.
Education & Scholarship
- Financial assistance for the annual Conrad B. Duberstein National
Moot Court Competition;
- Funding tuition for a student in the St. John’s University
Bankruptcy LL.M. program;
- Support for the activities of the ABI Resident Scholar;
- Financial aid for the annual Corporate Restructuring Competition
held at the Kellogg School of Management.
