  • Funding of a comprehensive national study of professional fees;
  • Funding a study of the impact of claims trading on the outcome of chapter 11 cases;
  • Sponsoring the first non-creditor-financed study of the repayment capacity of Chapter 7 debtors (already a landmark study referred to by Congress and others);
  • Funding a study on the use of substantive consolidation in large public company bankruptcy proceedings.

Education & Scholarship

  • Financial assistance for the annual Conrad B. Duberstein National Moot Court Competition;
  • Funding tuition for a student in the St. John’s University Bankruptcy LL.M. program;
  • Support for the activities of the ABI Resident Scholar;
  • Financial aid for the annual Corporate Restructuring Competition held at the Kellogg School of Management.
