Talking Stick Golf Club, North Course

In their Arizona debut, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw chose 350 acres of open farmland east of Scottsdale for the location of Talking Stick Golf Club. The extraordinary 36-hole facility built by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community gets its name from the ancient instrument used to mark significant historic events. The unique North Course, ranked Number 2 in Arizona by Golfweek, assures a host of memorable golf experiences, from links-style adventure in the grasslands to ingenious bunkering. The uninterrupted desert panorama takes in the distant mountain ranges, reflecting cherished rural seclusion. $150 per player includes breakfast, cart rental, tournament fees and prizes. High Performance Driving School

This is the ultimate “E” ticket! Enter the world of professional driving at this high performance driving school, located at the International Raceway. Start your afternoon behind-the-wheel at the auto-cross, where you’ll be timed on competitive driving through an obstacle course at your highest speed in a “race-prepared” Ford Mustang GT. Then, you’ll ride “shotgun” with a seasoned instructor on one of the country’s most demanding racetracks for a thrilling trip around the track at speeds of up to 100 mph! This event is four hours. The cost of $250 per person includes transportation, guide, autocross racing and hot lap with instructor.
