Joshua Tree Jeep Eco-Tour

Friday, December 2, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Beginning at sea level, this exciting jeep adventure travels up rugged canyons, climbing 4,300 feet high into the Mojave Desert, land of the Joshua trees and Joshua Tree National Park. Below 3,000 feet, the Colorado Desert encompasses the eastern part of the park and features natural gardens of creosote bush, ocotillo and cholla cactus. The higher, moister and slightly cooler Mojave Desert is the special habitat of the Joshua tree. The western part of the park also includes some of the most interesting geologic displays found in California’s deserts; you’ll learn about 25 different animals, several Indian tribes, gold miners, cattle ranchers and rustlers. $140 per person includes transportation by jeep to and from the hotel, snacks, water, guide fees and park admission. (California law requires children under six years old or 60 lbs. to be in a car seat.)
