Golf Tournament
Thursday, December 1, 8:00 a.m.
The West Course, a lush, mature course, lies nestled in a pristine
mountain cove. Ted Robinson crafted each hole with unique challenges for
every skill level. Island greens and fairways, mature trees, sparkling
lakes and mountain vistas make each round an experience unlike any
other. All carts feature the state-of-the-art Parview global positioning
system offering a yardage and scoring system, two-way communication with
the pro shop, real-time cart tracking, graphic hole and green overviews,
exact distancing to fairway hazards and landmarks, pin placement and
much more! Please indicate your handicap on the registration form.
Breakfast, greens and tournament fees, carts and prizes are included in
the $115 fee.
The Living Desert
Thursday, December 1, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Discover the Living Desert’s 1,200 acres of blooming,
scampering, flying and howling fun. You’ll discover desert plants
and ecosystems, native and exotic animals from the world’s
deserts, scenic trails, beautiful botanical gardens, the Wildlife
Wonders Animal Show, hands-on discovery room and Gecko Gulch. All of
this plus wilderness hiking trails and Native American exhibits. The
Living Desert is located just four miles from the resort! $80 per
person includes transportation and lunch.
Tennis Tournament
Thursday, December 1, 1:00 p.m.
The hard courts of Hyatt Grand Champions will be the site of the
annual round robin Tennis Tournament. The Indian Wells desert area
offers beautiful weather and spectacular scenery. Please indicate
participation on the registration form. Lunch, balls, court fees and
prizes are included in the $45 fee.
Joshua Tree Jeep Eco-Tour
Friday, December 2, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Beginning at sea level, this exciting jeep adventure travels up
rugged canyons, climbing 4,300 feet high into the Mojave Desert, land of
the Joshua trees and Joshua Tree National Park. This is a true off-road
adventure traveling through two deserts and the transition zone between
two ecosystems. Below 3,000 feet, the Colorado Desert encompasses the
eastern part of the park and features natural gardens of creosote bush,
ocotillo and cholla cactus. The higher, moister and slightly cooler
Mojave Desert is the special habitat of the Joshua tree. The western
part of the park also includes some of the most interesting geologic
displays found in California’s deserts; you’ll learn about
25 different animals, several Indian tribes, gold miners, cattle
ranchers and rustlers. $140 per person includes transportation by
jeep to and from the hotel, snacks, water, guide fees and park
admission. (California law requires children under six years old or 60
lbs. to be in a car seat.)
Chefs’ Cooking Class
Friday, December 2, 1:00–2:30 p.m
Join the chefs of the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa and learn
to prepare two delectable signature dishes:
- Seared Ahi Tuna with Tomato, Chive and Lemon Buerre Noisette
- Chicken, Avocado and Pepperjack Cheese Lumpia with Black Bean
Sauce
This interactive class details the process from selecting basic
ingredients to its delicious finale. Bring your chef hat and apron!

Rock-N-Roll Dance Party

Hot Air Ballooning

Enjoy a champagne hot air balloon adventure! Colorful, seven-story
high hot air balloons ascend above the Coachella Valley, offering the
best views of the Colorado and Mojave Deserts! Your comfort and safety
are assured by 18 years of experience and top-rated, professional pilots
and ground crew. Suited to adventurers of any age! $195 per

Off-road Quad Tours
Saturday, December 3, 1:00–4:00 p.m.
For the more adventurous, enjoy a fun, self-guided tour of the desert
valley on an all terrain quad. Take pleasure in the panoramic views of
the ponds, windmills, sand dunes and the Whitewater River. This is a
great ride for beginning and skilled riders alike! A variety of vehicles
are available to suit the age, size and skill of the driver. A short
instructional course is provided for all non-licensed adventurers.
$250 per person includes transportation and lunch.
