practical effects of the BAPCPA. It will cover such issues as
filing statistics, possible economic effects of the bill, and effects
on small business filings.

requirements of the new law? How have mandated counseling requirements
affected the bankruptcy process? Can we draw conclusions about the
process based on the experience to date? How are debtor education

Chapter 7 & 13 Issues: Means Testing and Good Faith: The
means test included in BAPCPA applies a mathematical test to debtors
above median income to determine if a presumption of abuse
arises. This panel will examine whether the law is
working as it was intended, and review the actual effects of the changes
in BAPCPA.

various changes in responsibilities and liabilities of debtors’ counsel
and increased documentation requirements had on practitioners? How has
the new law affected debtor’s counsel practices, due diligence workload,
