Golf Tournament

The annual Golf Tournament, 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, will be
held at The Golf Club of Amelia Island, adjacent to the hotel. Designed
by PGA tour veterans Mark McCumber and Gene Littler, the course
presents players with the ultimate in pure golfing pleasure. The $140
fee for golf includes greens fee and cart, box lunch and beverage, and
prizes. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form to
play and indicate your handicap.
Horseback Riding on the Beach
Enjoy the thrill of horseback riding, oceanside, on Thursday, July
27, at 1:30 p.m. Your guide will lead you on this one
hour-and-fifteen-minute journey along the beach and through the dunes.
You will enjoy the southernmost part of Amelia Island, which is noted
for its unspoiled natural beauty. Even nonequestrians will enjoy this
unique activity! $90 per person. Size restrictions apply.
Tennis Tournament
The clay courts of The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will be the
site for our round robin tournament at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28.
Join us at the courts for lunch, beverages and plenty of tennis. The $35
fee for tennis includes tournament fees, box lunch and beverage, and
prizes. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form to
participate.
Sailing

Get a different view of Amelia Island as you sail 33’ to
38’ sailboats around the beautiful Intercoastal Waterway,
Cumberland Island and Fort Clinch on Thursday, July 27, at 1:30 p.m.
This two-hour excursion is $30 per person, and includes
round-trip transportation, box lunch and beverages. Bring deck
shoes, a camera, and some sun block.
Kayak Tour of Inland Marshes
After a brief introduction to techniques, you and your guides will
paddle your way to an island where you may swim and relax before
continuing your 4-hour aquatic adventure. Dolphins, manatees, otters
and a host of other local inhabitants may be seen on the tour. The $110
per person fee includes transportation to and from the hotel, equipment
and instruction. The tour is scheduled for Friday, July 28 at 2:00
p.m. Please bring at least two bottled waters per person, sun block and
insect repellent.
Ritz Kids®

The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island offers The Ritz Kids program, an
exclusive supervised children’s program designed specifically for
younger guests ages 5 through 12. The Ritz Kids program allows
parents to play while children stay with trained and certified
counselors. Each counselor is certified in infant, child and adult
CPR, basic first aid and water safety. The staff takes extra care
to ensure each child enjoys a positive, rewarding experience in The
Ritz Kids program. Lunch is included with full day program from
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Lunch is Noon–1:00 p.m. Half day
program is from 9:00 a.m.– Noon or 1:00 p.m.– 4:00 p.m., and
does not include lunch. Reservations are a must and availability is
limited. Please indicate participation on the registration form.
