The 6th Annual American Bankruptcy Institute/Tulane University Law
School Litigation Skills Symposium will be held at the Tulane Law
School in New Orleans, May 15-18, 2007.
The four-day Symposium offers insolvency practitioners a rare
opportunity to gain critical skills in a unique learn-by-doing
environment. The Symposium combines quality instruction with
individualized critique. The expert faculty demonstrates the specific
advocacy skills necessary to be an effective practitioner. Participants
work in small groups; their performances are videotaped and evaluated
by the faculty who provide invaluable feedback on technique, style and
strategy. The workshops include live performances by lay and expert
witnesses. The final-day mock trials will be held at the Hale Boggs
Federal Courthouse. The entire program is extremely work-intensive and
interactive for both the attendees and faculty. Enrollment is limited
to the first 24 registered practitioners to maximize the learning
experience. Approximately 18.25 hours of CLE/CPE credit are
available.
