ABI’s host hotel, the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans is located at
921 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70112. Located in the French
Quarter on world-famous Canal Street and just minutes from the Ernest N.
Morial Convention Center, the Superdome, three challenging golf courses
and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, the hotel is
very convenient. The hotel is also in close proximity to the Garden
District and near the Audubon Institute's Aquarium of the Americas,
Audubon Park and Zoological Garden.
ABI has reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Ritz-Carlton for $179
per/night being held until Friday, April 13, 2007.
Please call 1-800-241-3333 for reservations and mention the group
block reserved for the American Bankruptcy Institute. Additionally,
transportation will be provided to and from Tulane University Law
School, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and the Hale Boggs Federal Courthouse
for Symposium participants.
Directions & Transportation to Hotel:
To reach the Maison St. Charles from Interstate 10: take US Business
Route 90 toward the Mississippi River (West Bank). Exit at Carondelet
/ St. Charles Avenue. Proceed through the intersection and follow the
service road to St. Charles Avenue. Turn right. The hotel is two blocks
ahead on the right.
Transportation from New Orleans International Airport to the Ritz
Carlton: Taxi rates - $28 for 1 or 2 passengers. $10 each additional
passenger.
Shuttle Service - $13 per person. (Available in Downstairs
Baggage Claim Area.)

- Follow signs I-10 East Slidell
- Follow I-10 East approximately 18 miles
- Exit at 235A – Orleans Avenue/Vieux Carre Exit
- Follow ramp down and proceed to your right 8 blocks (Orleans
Avenue becomes Basin Street), move into left lane
- Turn left on Conti Street, travel 3 blocks to Dauphine
Street and turn right
- Proceed 3 blocks to Canal Street and turn right
- Canal Street Entrance on right at 921 Canal Street

Suggested Transportation
Taxi-cabs are readily available outside the airport and
will cost you on average $30 to reach the Ritz- Carlton. It will take
you about 25 minutes.

Parking
Valet parking is available at a rate of $32.00 per day. We regret

prerequisites for attendance. ABI is registered with the National
Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of
continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE
sponsors. State boards of accountancy have the final authority on the
acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding
registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE

or www.nasba.org. For more information regarding administrative policies
such as complaint and refund, please contact the American Bankruptcy
Institute at (703) 739-0800. ABI acknowledges that in some instances
there will be persons who need to attend an educational seminar for CLE
credit who are not able to pay full registration fees. ABI will handle
such instances on a case-by-case basis and will work with the individual
on alternative solutions. For persons who cannot meet the full
registration rate, ABI will offer a reduced rate based on what the
individual can reasonably afford to cover the cost of meals and
materials. For persons unable to pay a reduced rate, ABI may allow the
individual to work at the registration area for a few hours during
attendee check-in, or assist in conference set up. ABI also has reduced
rates for government employees, professors, law clerks and students.
