Optional Events
Osprey Point Golf Tournament
Sponsored by Wells Fargo Foothill
Thursday, July 26, 1:00 p.m.
The best contemporary architect in golf, Tom Fazio, has left his mark
on Kiawah. At Osprey Point, Fazio used a superb natural canvas to create
a masterpiece in playability and variety. The setting for the course
features four large, natural lakes, fingers of saltwater marsh, and
dense maritime forests of live oaks, pines, palmettos and magnolias.
Into that backdrop, Fazio blended a par-72 layout that takes advantage
of its setting. Ranked “#10 Best Golf Course for Women” by
Golf for Women magazine in 2005, Osprey Point has grown into
one of the favored courses on the island. The $150 fee
includes greens fee and cart, box lunch, beverage and prizes. Please
check the appropriate box on the registration form, and indicate your
handicap.
