Returning this year, ABI's Detroit Consumer Program is a day-long conference designed especially for Michigan-area consumer practitioners. This program will address the most important issues, including the means test, chapter 13 plan modifications, lien-stripping and valuation and discharge violations. It is structured to help both debtor and creditor practitioners maximize efficiencies in their practices, and to give attendees practical and helpful insights into the thinking of several area judges. The conference includes a keynote talk on the future of the housing market and will close with a networking reception. Held on a court holiday, the conference is a must-attend for every Michigan-area consumer bankruptcy practitioner!
