The 7th Annual American Bankruptcy Institute/Tulane University Law School Litigation Skills Symposium was held at the Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 13-16, 2008.
The four-day Symposium offered insolvency practitioners a rare opportunity to gain critical skills in a unique learn-by-doing environment. The Symposium combined quality instruction with individualized critique. The expert faculty demonstrated the specific advocacy skills necessary to be an effective practitioner. Participants worked in small groups; their performances were videotaped and evaluated by the faculty who provided invaluable feedback on technique, style and strategy. The workshops included live performances by lay and expert witnesses. The final-day mock trials were held at the Hale Boggs Federal Courthouse.
