Deep-water Fishing Tournament

Whether you are a novice fisherman or a seasoned angler, if you are looking for a day of fun on the water, you will not be disappointed! Amelia Island’s captains will put you in the middle of the action. The $50 per person fee includes round-trip transportation from the Ritz-Carlton, all boat fees and gratuities, lunch and drinks, and prize money. All boats have restroom facilities, but remember to bring sunblock, a hat, soft-soled deck shoes and a strong back for fighting the “Big One”! Golf Tournament

The annual Golf Tournament will be held at The Golf Club of Amelia Island, adjacent to the hotel. Designed by PGA tour veterans Mark McCumber and Gene Littler, the course presents players with the ultimate in pure golfing pleasure. The $150 fee for golf includes greens fee and cart, box lunch and beverage, and prizes. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form to play, and indicate your handicap.
Cumberland Island Hiking Eco-Tour
Friday, July 18, 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
After being picked up at the Ritz-Carlton, the tour begins with a 45-minute cruise aboard the Cumberland Princess from Amelia Island to Cumberland Island, where you will view the island’s natural wilderness, wildlife, waterfowl and wild horses. A distinct walking tour includes viewing the Dungeness ruins, a once magnificent Carnegie estate. Lunch will be provided $135 per-person. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
Tennis Tournament

The clay courts of The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will be the site for our round robin tournament. Join us at the courts for lunch, beverages and plenty of tennis. The $50 fee includes tournament fees, box lunch and beverage, and prizes. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
Kayaking the Coastal Waterways
Friday, July 18, 2:00-4:30 p.m.
After a brief introduction to techniques, you and your guides will paddle your way to an island where you may swim and relax before continuing your 4-hour aquatic adventure. Dolphins, manatees, otters and a host of other local inhabitants may be seen on the tour through diverse waterways and along beautiful coastal shores. See many varieties of wild birds, such as egrets, ospreys, herons, terns and skimmers. The $135 per person fee includes transportation to and from the hotel, equipment and instruction. Be sure to bring a bathing suit, at least two bottled waters per person, sunblock and insect repellent. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
Horseback Riding on the Beach
Saturday, July 19, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Enjoy the thrill of horseback riding, oceanside. Your guide will lead you on this one hour-and-fifteen-minute journey along the beach and through the dunes. You will enjoy the southernmost part of Amelia Island, which is noted for its unspoiled natural beauty. Even non-equestrians will enjoy this unique activity! The fee is $125 per person. Size restrictions apply.
Ritz KidsŪ
The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island offers The Ritz Kids program, an exclusive supervised children’s program designed specifically for younger guests ages 5-12. The Ritz Kids program allows parents to learn and play while children stay with trained and certified counselors. Each counselor is certified in infant, child and adult CPR, basic first aid and water safety. The staff takes extra care to ensure that each child enjoys a positive, rewarding experience in The Ritz Kids program. Lunch is included with the full-day program from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Lunch is 12:00-1:00 p.m. The half-day program is from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and does not include lunch.
