Golf Tournament

Friday, July 19, 1:00 p.m.

The annual Golf Tournament will be held at The Golf Club of Amelia Island, adjacent to the hotel. Designed by PGA tour veterans Mark McCumber and Gene Littler, the course presents players with the ultimate in pure golfing pleasure. The $195 fee includes greens fee and cart, box lunch and beverage, and prizes. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form to play, and indicate your handicap.

Heavy-Hitter Fishing Outing

Friday, July 19, 1:00-6:00 p.m.

Whether you are a novice fisherman or a seasoned angler, if you are looking for a day of fun on the water, you will not be disappointed! Amelia Island’s captains will put you in the middle of the action. The cost is $265 per person and includes round-trip transportation from the Ritz-Carlton, all boat fees and gratuities, a box lunch, drinks and snacks. Remember to bring sunblock, a hat, soft-soled deck shoes and a strong back for fighting the “Big One”! Please check the appropriate box on the registration form. This event requires a minimum number of attendees. If this minimum is not met, the event will not be held, and you will be refunded any fees and notified two weeks prior.

Kayaking

Friday, July 19, 1:30-4:45 p.m.

Let experienced guides teach you how to kayak along the many tidal creeks and waterways of the barrier island! As you arrive, the guides will help you choose a kayak that is suitable for your weight and height. Anyone under the age of 12 must be in a tandem with an adult. The cost for this event is $155 per person, which includes round-trip transportation, kayaks, guide and gratuities. Remember your sunscreen and appropriate footwear (your feet will get wet). Please check the appropriate box on the registration form. This event requires a minimum number of attendees. If this minimum is not met, the event will not be held, and you will be refunded any fees and notified two weeks prior.

SALT Cooking School

Saturday, July 20, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Enjoy cooking with the Ritz-Carlton culinary team from the award-winning fine-dining restaurant SALT. Their team will guide you through the recipes and preparation of various exciting dishes, which you will enjoy after the cooking lesson. The $170-per-person fee includes ingredients, food items for sampling and chefs assisting with preparation during class. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form. This event requires a minimum number of attendees. If this minimum is not met, the event will not be held, and you will be refunded any fees and notified two weeks prior.

Tennis Tournament

Saturday, July 20, 1:00 p.m.

The clay courts of The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will be the site for our round-robin tournament. Join us at the courts for lunch, beverages and plenty of tennis. The $60-per-person fee includes tournament fees, box lunch and beverage, and prizes. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form.

Horseback Riding on South Beach

Saturday, July 20, 2:00-3:45 p.m.

Saddle up and take a ride on one of the gentle, well-trained horses and enjoy the beautiful scenery of southern Amelia Island! The ride is five miles, which takes approximately one hour. There is a 230-pound weight limit. The height requirement is 410, and all riders must be at least 12 years of age. An adult must accompany anyone under 18 years of age (no exceptions will be made). The cost is $140 per person and includes transportation, a guided trail ride, tour guide and gratuities. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form.

Ritz Kids®

The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island offers the Ritz Kids® program, an exclusive supervised children’s program designed specifically for younger guests ages 5-12. The Ritz Kids® program allows parents to play while children stay with trained and certified counselors. Each counselor is certified in infant, child and adult CPR, basic first aid and water safety. The staff takes extra care to ensure that each child enjoys a positive, rewarding experience in the Ritz Kids® program. Lunch is included with the full-day program from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (lunch is from 12:00-1:00 p.m.). The half-day program is from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and does not include lunch. Reservations are a must; availability is limited. The full-day program fee is $90 for the first child and $85 for each additional child, which includes lunch. The half-day program fee is $60 for the first child and $55 for each additional child.
