Golf Tournament

The annual Golf Tournament will be held at The Golf Club of Amelia Island, which is adjacent to the hotel. Designed by PGA tour veterans Mark McCumber and Gene Littler, the course presents players with the ultimate in pure golfing pleasure. The $195 fee includes green fee and cart, box lunch and beverage, and prizes. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form to play, and indicate your handicap. For those participating in the ABI Golf Tour, this will be the fourth stop leading to the 2014 Great American Cup, sponsored by Great American Group. Amelia River Cruise

Set sail on a two-hour sightseeing cruise of Amelia Island! Soak in the views as the crew maneuver the boat through the Intracoastal Waterway. Wildlife abounds in the water and coastal region, including herons, egrets, dolphins and the elusive manatees. The tour is narrated by a historian who will share the interesting histories of both Amelia Island and Cumberland Island. The cost for this tour is $95 per person, which includes round-trip transportation, tour guide and gratuity. This is a public tour. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form.

Sporting Clays Tournament

Join your ABI colleagues for some clay skeet shooting, sometimes referred to as “golf with a gun.” Sporting clays, like trap and skeet, use traps and clay targets to duplicate, as much as possible, conditions and presentations you would normally find while hunting. The sporting course is laid out over a 10+ acre site on rough and hilly terrain. The path that shooters follow usually takes a circular or horseshoe shape, enabling shooters to start and finish in roughly the same place. Targets are thrown from 10 to 14 shooting stations along the path. The cost for this event is $95 per person, which includes a boxed lunch, round-trip transportation, and 100 shells and targets per person. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form.

Tennis Tournament

Historic Beach Bicycle Tour

Saturday, July 26, 2:15-3:45 p.m.

Join an experienced guide on a bike tour through history! American Beach was founded in 1935, and throughout the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, summers at American Beach were busy with families, churches and children. The cost for this tour is $85 per person and includes an experienced guide, fitness towels, instructional packet, bottled water and gratuities. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form. This event requires a minimum number of attendees. If this minimum is not met, the event will not be held, and you will be refunded any fees and notified two weeks prior.

Ritz Kids®

The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island offers its Ritz Kids® program, an exclusive supervised children’s program designed specifically for younger guests ages 5-12. The Ritz Kids® program allows parents to play while children stay with trained and certified counselors. Each counselor is certified in infant, child and adult CPR, basic first aid and water safety. The staff takes extra care to ensure that each child enjoys a positive, rewarding experience in the Ritz Kids® program. The Full-Day Program takes place Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes juice, snacks and lunch. The full-day program fee is $75 for the first child and $70 for each additional child. The Half-Day Program includes juice and snacks and is available Thursday through Sunday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday each afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The half-day program fee is $55 for the first child and $50 for each additional child. An optional lunch may be included for an additional $15. 24-hour advance reservations are requested. Cancellations must be received within four hours of the program starting time, or full charges will be applied to the guest account.
