29th Annual Spring Meeting

Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center
National Harbor, Maryland

March 31 - April 3, 2011

The Annual Spring Meeting features a roster of the best national speakers. The depth and scope of topics offer something for everyone. Specifically, four concurrent workshops will cover various “tracks,” including programs for attorneys in large and small commercial cases, a track for restructuring professionals and a track dealing solely with consumer issues. We offer more than 16 hours of CLE/CPE in some states and ethics totaling 3 hours. In addition, 20 committee sessions, will drill down on topics covered in the larger sessions to provide you with the most practical and varied CLE/CPE experience ever.

Networking opportunities abound. Optional events range from a golf tournament at National Golf Club, a Washington Wizards vs. Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game and the always-popular musical troupe, The Capitol Steps. Catch up with colleagues at the Opening Reception, Friday Luncheon with keynote by former U.S. Senator Alan Simpson and the Women’s Networking Reception.

Nestled in a harbor on the banks of the Potomac with views of our Nation’s Capitol, this resort offers the best in the meetings industry with high-end guest rooms and fine and casual dining, unique retail shops, a 20,000 square foot spa and fitness center, and a two-story rooftop nightclub. National Harbor finally brings together what our Founding Fathers hoped D.C. would be: a town bustling with river traffic, utilizing all that historic Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., have to offer. There are several top restaurants adjacent for your client events.

Our Final Night Dinner will be memorable, headlined by vocal superstar LeeAnn Rimes and supported by nationally recognized firms.

I look forward to seeing you there!
Melissa Kibler Knoll, ABI President
