Committee Session Materials for ABI's 21st Annual Winter Leadership Conference
ABI's 21st Annual Winter Leadership Conference will take place Dec. 3-5 at the gorgeous La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, Calif. La Quinta is the classic Palm Springs resort, nestled at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Enjoy the beautiful landscape, as well as renowned tennis, golf and the spa. This year's conference will offer insights from some of the top insolvency and restructuring experts on issues confronting the profession in 2010.
The Labor and Employment Committee will present a session entitled “Labor Unions in Today’s Bankruptcies” on Friday, Dec. 4 at 3:45 p.m. Panelists will discuss important elements of the section 1113 process and parties’ rights after rejection of a labor agreement that have remained undeveloped in case law as well as recent decisions on duty to bargain. Panelists will include Hon. William T. Bodoh of Frost Brown Todd LLC in Columbus, Ohio, Brian P. Leitch of Perseus LLC in New York and Richard M. Seltzer of Cohen, Weiss & Simon LLP in New York.
