A panel of experienced practitioners will be on hand to discuss the impact of the Federal-Mogul confirmation, as well as noteworthy issues that have arisen post-confirmation in other mass tort bankruptcies such as Armstrong Worldwide Industries.
Long-Awaited Confirmation in Federal-Mogul Corporation Cases
On November 8, 2007, the Hon. Judith K. Fitzgerald, seated in Pittsburgh, entered an order confirming the Fourth Amended Joint Plan of Reorganization in the Federal-Mogul Corporation chapter 11 cases. The order applies to 23 U.S. debtors and many more U.K. debtors and is subject to final approval by the District Court.
