Committee Session Materials for ABI's 21st Annual Winter Leadership Conference
ABI’s 21st Annual Winter Leadership Conference will take place Dec. 3-5 at the gorgeous La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, Calif. The Public Companies and Claims Trading Committee will present a session entitled “Circuit Splits: Will Recent Decisions on Several Key Issues Result in Forum-shopping?” on Friday, Dec. 4 at 11:15 a.m. Panelists will discuss different courts’ rulings on cases involving standards for rejection of a collective bargaining agreement, lease proration, stay pending appeal, third party releases, lockups, successor liability and timing of payment of section 503(b)(9) claims and the definition of “goods.” Panelists will include Jonathan P.
