The Uniform Commercial Code Committee will hold a session on Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. entitled "Reclamation and 503(b)(9) Issues in the Aftermath of Sixth Circuit's Decision in Phar-Mor v. McKesson and Article 3: Where's the Note, Who's the Holder? Enforcement of Promissory Notes Secured by Real Estate." Panelists will discuss how recent decisions, like that of the Sixth Circuit since BAPCPA has been in effect, have helped restore vendors' rights to a place of prominence among creditors. Panelists will include R. Glen Ayers, Jr. of Langley & Banack, Inc. in San Antonio, Steven M. Berman of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP in Tampa, Fla., Hon Samuel L.
